Quasi-static & Fatigue Testing Facilities

CEAM's Quasi-static testing facilities include 5 computer-controlled hydraulic and multi-axial load frames, providing state-of-the-art testing of materials under quasi-static loading and fatigue. Multiple hydraulic pumps enable simultaneous operation of all load frames.

Twin beam Micro Load Frame:
  • Thin film, or single 20 mm glass or carbon fiber load frame.
  • Measures Young's modulus, UTS, displacement & load.
  • Matched cantilever beams and strain gages.
  • Stand-alone or with a servo-hydraulic load frame.
  • Easily adapted to a variety of testing environments.

20 kip Load Frames:
    MTS
  • Performs high-cycle tension fatigue tests
  • Determination of Young's Modulus, UTS, Poisson's raitio, etc...

  • Instron
  • Performs compressive loading and fatigue tests
  • Computer-controlled thermal cycling Usinfg a 1000C axial furnace
50 kip Load Frame:
    MTS
  • Performs high-cycle tension fatigue tests
  • Determination of Young's Modulus, UTS, Poisson's raitio, etc...
Stainless Steel Pneumatic Load Frames with Waterbaths:
  • Provide constant load for rapid aging under stress
  • Controlled stress to 30 ksi
  • Controlled temperature in waterbath to 200°F
  • Controlled waterbath pH
